Most people want to escape the Texas Heat in the summertime...my time to get out of Texas is Winter...when cedar allergy season hits! So I pack my bags and try to take a nice trip in January and in 2019, we went to Key West!!  I had no intention of fossil hunting until I found out that the whole island is mad up of fossilized Pleistocene Corals and Shells! So my souvenier was.... more rocks.  The Key Largo Limestone formation comprises the Lower Keys.
